I bought this bag to travel to Thailand for two weeks. The bag looks great! My friends (even boys) were jealous of this bag. It has very practical pockets:one big cavity that opens to reveal a pocket that zips on the inside for personal or hidden items, another with a mesh pocket that is accessible from outside, several mesh pockets inside for small items i.e. socks, one big pocket on the bottom of pack (I used for shoes, sleeping bag, travel pillow, etc. The best part is the travel pack backpack! I used that everyday. It is small but perfect because it made me mindful of how much I carried with me. The daypack easily attaches to backpack and adds a good deal more space. I thought it was very comfortable and easy to carry, although I did pack more than I should have, it weighed around 30 pounds and I still could have packed more gear into it! The daypack was perfect for my travel wallet, passport, tickets, etc. It opens from the inside/back which prevents theft. Osprey makes great quality bags and I cannot wait to take more trips to use this! My husband and friends even wanna borrow it...don't they know it's a chick bag? =)

I took this pack on a solo 6-week backpacking trip around Europe. It worked wonderfully! The panel-loading design is extremely efficient because you can see all of your stuff at once. There are various mesh pockets on the inside which were useful for storing little things, like my first-aid kit, and jewelry bag. The compartment at the bottom was so useful for separating my dirty clothes. It fit all my stuff perfectly for my trip and could probably fit more stuff!

A really nice feature on the detachable day-pack is that the main access zipper is through the back of the pack, so you are the only one who can access it. I was carrying my 15-in laptop, and this feature made me feel very secure about carrying my computer on trains and busses.

Before I got this pack, I was a little hesitant to buy it because of the price. But after comparing it to other travel packs, you can tell Ospray has a high attention to detail and quality. The materials are super durable. This is the perfect pack for travel...Definitely recommend it! Bon voyage!

This bag is AMAZING. I use it regularly for week+ long trips or for weekend trips that involve some touristy shopping. There is a LOT of room in this bag and easy to access everything in the bag due to it's big front panel zipper. It is comfortable and easy to adjust. I've worn this when walking for several hours and it fits my short torso well. Another plus is that the airlines haven't seemed to damage it as of yet, must be pretty sturdy. It is easy to just throw on your back instead of hauling it through the airport. My friends made fun of me but guess what? They all borrow it :)
The day pack is just a hair small to fit my 13" laptop in the back compartment but it goes in the main portion just fine. I've used the day pack to carry a couple 3L water bladders on days that I'm working in the heat and humidity and poke the tubes out the earphone hole. Works pretty well!
This bag is definitely too large to take as a carry on (my only sadness regarding the bag) but has absolutely been worth every penny I paid for it. I'm thinking about getting a carry-on version!
