Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
the combination of an awesome beam spread, high brightness and compactness make it a great commuter and trail riding light. bought it mainly because of the compact battery that mounts on the stem- which finally freed up my bottle cage! really didnt know about the beam quality until i had it on the trail though. a really versatile light.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
This light is nearly as bright as my Niterider HID. Very light and small. Easy to mount to your helmet or bike. Use alone or with another light for a great night ride or 24 hour race light setup.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
Small size and bright beam in a lightweight Aluminum alloy casing along with the compact lithium-ion battery makes this one hard to beat. CygoLite stands behind their product, as well; after about 100 miles of riding the connector from the battery to the light came loose. I emailed the problem and was asked to send the unit and battery to them. I called the company anyway to discuss the problem, to make sure that I didn't do anything wrong. It came back in excellent order in about 2 weeks.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
I started to bike commute last August ('09) and was trying to make do with a small-but-powerful 45 lumen light. With my early morning commute, I needed something stronger. I got this light with a 20% off coupon and have been very happy with it.A friend jokingly asks if I stole an aircraft landing light ... it's bright for night riding and the flash feature is great for dusk or daybreak rides or low-light/low-visibility conditions when it's foggy or raining.I particularly wanted this light because it has an extension cord for the battery. Turns out I just put the battery on top of my helmet with the light and leave it there. The battery is light weight and the whole set-up works well. I charge the light about every four hours of riding time. I usually use the high or the strobe modes although there are medium and low modes also. The light operates as advertised -- which means with no hassle, no worries and no problems in the 80 commutes I've made. This a good quality product at a reasonable price and one that I would recommend to a friend and that I would purchase again.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
This is the brightest headlight I've ever owned. I normally use it on low or medium. The battery pack really is light enough to mount on your helmet without undue fatigue.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
This is a really nice light for general use. However, it is not bright enough for higher speeds. It is pretty easy to "over ride" the visibility the light provides (especially in the "pothole central" of Mpls/St. Paul or MTB trails). The dead spot between the two led's light pattern only exacerbates this issue. That said, I do use this light for my work commute.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
I've had this light for about 3 months now. I was looking for a light that I could use on the road and also on trails. I haven't been able to use it on the trails yet, but here's my observations using it to commute for 3 months:
- it's very small and compact giving lots of mounting options.
- it's bright enough for commuting. I run mine on the "mid" setting at night and on "flash" in the morning.
- with this one you get the free helmet mount giving flexibility.
Here's what I don't like:
- the brackets (both helmet and handlebar) need tightening up a lot, otherwise the light bounces about.
- I don't like the "battery indicator". It's based upon a "pulse" telling you how much is left. It's so small it's barely perceptible until it's gotten to the "low" stage.
Relatively minor quibbles, a great little light.

You might still need a second light for nightime off-roading but this is a great, lightweight and compact product for the money.
Service and delivery comments:
Customer service from cygolite was immediate and effective. One quick email to them resulted in a replacement part in my hands in three days.

Comments about CygoLite Cygolite MityCross 350 LED Bike Light:
Took this light out the other night for an after work ride. The light pattern is great, no hot spots and the light was evenly spread across the trail. My friend had the Niterider Minewt 300 and I liked the Mitycross much better. Plus, my battery would last twice as long as his. I recommend this light to anyone who needs a good light.
