    Cons

    • Uncomfortable straps

Comments about Overland Equipment Cambridge Convertible Laptop Tote:

Unlike the other reviewer, I liked the snug fit for the laptop (stretchy pocket material) and the two pockets on the back that fit water bottles perfectly. The internal pocket arrangement was nearly my ideal. Unfortunately, the buckles for the shoulder straps cut me under the arms, and there is no strap to buckle them together across the chest. I was unsuccessful in obtaining customer support from the manufacturer on this issue. Also, the bag creates instant sweat when worn as a backpack. There is nothing to keep the surface off the back. Reluctantly, I returned the bag, because it was too uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour as a backpack, and there is no shoulder strap.

Comments about Overland Equipment Cambridge Convertible Laptop Tote:

I bought this specifically so I could have a back pack for my laptop and personal things while traveling through the airports. It was a snug fit for my 15" laptop. I ended up not taking the laptop, because I had gotten an iPad for Christmas. That fit even better. I would recommend this if you have a smaller laptop. I still had room for my wallet, book, snacks, 2 water bottles, passports, kid's toys and two sweaters. There are 3 things I would change. 1.) I wish it had two mesh water bottle holders on the sides. My bottles kept moving around inside, hard to dig out. 2.) I didn't like the two straps on the top that are for converting it to a purse style. They just got in the way everytime I wanted to open it. 3.) The main reason why I give it only 4 stars is that it falls over everytime I set it down. I wish it would stay upright when I set it down on the ground. It was especially annoying when getting our id's and tickets out in the airport, with 4 children in tow. If that problem were some how fixed, then I would say it would be worth the price being asked. Luckily, I had gotten it for a 1/3 less from another site. So I don't feel I wasted too much money. I'll probably only use this again if I take my larger lap top on a trip. It was comfortable to carry on my back. If these things aren't issues for you, then it's probably right for you. I do like all the pockets it has. I did have a place for all of my little things, and was able to get to them quick.
