Comments about Gerber Powerframe Serrated Knife:
This is your basic locking knife. It isn't anything special but it gets the job done and is well worth the price. The blade itself did come a bit loose after a month or two of frequent use but tightening the screw attaching the blade to the handle fixed that up just fine. There are a few nicks and cuts on the blade from use but nothing that detriments its performance. The one thing that I don't like about it is the locking mechanism. The lock itself does its job but it seems to lock twice while opening. The first "click" of the lock just seems like a design flaw with my specific knife and the second "click" moves the blade to where it should be. Also, the lock is difficult to push to close the blade and should be made a bit wider to fit the thumb better. Beyond that the knife gets the job done and does it well for the price you pay.

Comments about Gerber Powerframe Serrated Knife:
When I bought this knife the first thing I noticed was that it was a bit stiff to open, even for a new knife. However, about 2 days into use the blade loosened significantly and became very smooth and fluid it both opening, closing, and locking. The length of serration in comparison to straight blade feels just right when using it, it's very comfortable, and lightweight. A steal at [$]The only drawback of any sort that I have found is that the blade dulls rather quickly, and I find myself sharpening it more than I'm used to. Though, this doesn't prove to be too much of an inconvenience as it's not time consuming or difficult to sharpen a knife..All in all the Gerber's have always impressed me, and the Powerframe is no exception.
