Comments about MSR Board Room Tent:
Our crew of five geologists used this tent as our cook/office tent on a remote project where everything had to be crammed into a bush plane, flown into a tiny airstrip, then hiked 2 miles to our basecamp on mining claims in remote Alaska. The MSR Boardroom, was large enough for five 6-foot tall guys to cook, dine, work on notes and maps and just hang out when the weather turned bad; which was frequent. Its easy to set up, but needs to be well staked. The stakes provided are light but tough. The only real con is the condensation was pretty bad; this was somewhat expected for a tent without a fly. The modular nature of the tent is handy. With all of the accessories: foot print, extra mesh door and the Bunkhouse-4 insert(all of which were not used on this trip) the tent bag weighed 35 lbs. The weight is a good compromise of space, weight, and durability.
