    Recently used this to keep iPhone charged for a month away from a wall socket. I was surprised how well it worked even on cloudy days. It even worked inside a clear Aquapac waterproof bag strapped to the back deck of my kayak. My Steripen charger melted in the same pouch, but the SolarMio collected a charge for later transfer to my phone day after day. My only complaint is that it did not have enough juice stored to completely charge the iPhone but I'm looking at other Solar Focus products to find one with more capacity. Simple,rugged,dependable,versatile, I am very satisfied with results from this charger!

    I have been very pleased with my SolarMio. I was expecting it to be similar to another solar product which I purchased six years ago, but SolarMio proved much better. It charges quickly, has adapters for many devices and I could charge mobile phones quickly. While doing field work I could charge three types of mobile phones, my portable music, and Minidisc recorders (it did not charge my PDA though). My one drawback is that you can not tell when the internal battery charge is low, so it is either full or it is charging. I would highly recommend to those who have access to sunshine or bright light and need something portable to charge with, besides more AA batteries.
