Comments about Primus EtaPower Easy Fuel Stove:
I've owned this stove for 2 years now. I've use it specifically for weekend BP trips. To big for long-range carry (at least in my opinion), but I wish I could!
Pros: 1) For me anyway, I love to cook in the backcountry when given the chance, and this kit is big enough to do most everything I want, with great temp setting control, and nice large pot and fry-pan. 2) Fuel Efficiency! Wow! I also own an MSR Superfly and an MSR PocketRocket. It is equally efficient as the Superfly, in my opinion, yet more versitile. PLUS, when the can gets low, you can flip it upside down to maintain fuel and pressure...can't do that with my other two. 3)Bulletproof!: My pack and everything in it or on it tend to get the bejeesus kicked out of it. This stove takes a beating like not other, and keeps working! 4) The Warmer/Protective Case really works! 5) Easy to use...even my girlfriend figured it out on the first try! LOL! 6) The piezo lighter actually works! Don't know for how long, but it works well. Looks easy to replace, also. 7) I have had to do a full fledged field repair/cleaning on this, and I was greatful for how easy the fuel line and valve came apart. I got some dirt in the valve (I got careless using it and got the valve a bit dirty), pulled it apart with my leatherman, cleaned it out, and reassembled in 10 minutes. NICE! 8) I can store an 8 oz. MSR butane can inside, and still have room for Salt, Pepper, little bottles of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar, and my tube of Pesto!
Cons: 1) Yep, it is bulky, and does take up space in your pack. If you're all minimal all the time, this stove is NOT for you. 2) Yep, its a bit heavier too. About 2.5 lbs.
Overall, love the stove. I've used it in traditional camping situations a couple of times too. Easy to use and efficient.

Comments about Primus EtaPower Easy Fuel Stove:
Used this over a week in the Boundary Waters. Performed great for the most part. At one point, used a separate frying pan so didn't use the windscreen. Winds were high so we had to block, but other than that worked great. Boils water extremely fast though it is a bit noisy. Not something you really notice until you turn it off. Mine came with a nice case that kept everything together. The pot it came with was too small for most of our larger meals so at camp we mainly kept the stove, a larger bottle of fuel and a few utensils in the case so it was all together at all times when not in use. The included pot was mostly used for making up mountain house deserts which were pretty darn tasty. :)
