    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Good, simple to understand computer. quick set-up. Note that the range of the wireless prohibits mounting the sensor on the rear wheel if the computer is to remain on the handlebars (ie for training).

      Picture and Description are misleading

Comments about Cat Eye Vectra Wireless Bike Computer:

The picture and description are misleading.
      1) The picture (provided by Cat Eye) shows Trip A/B capable, it's not. Not sure where this picture came from. No mention of Trip A/B in the User Manual either.
      2) Description says you can choose between Automatic and Manual start up modes, but you can't. No mention of Automatic and Manual start up modes in User Manual either.
      3) When you hit the AC (All Clear) button to reset, the display shows a bunch of LED labels like mph or kmh as you see in the picture, but it also shows trips A and B, AT (for automatic), AND a timer/average, but these features are not provided in this unit.

I bought this at the used gear sale, so I'll keep it, otherwise I would return it.

I wouldn't use this on rough trails either. Since the sensor is strapped on with zip ties on metal, it can slide. It's a blessing and a curse :-). I was able to manually move the sensor when the magnet and sensor weren't aligned, but I can't pull the zip ties any tighter than they are already.

I would recommend solely based on me being a casual rider.

Comments about Cat Eye Vectra Wireless Bike Computer:

My wife and I are not die hard riders but we do ride and at times with distances of 30-40 miles. Just bought this computer for each of our bikes and they installed quickly. We used them for the first time on a 38 mile ride and they were both spot on regarding accuracy. After getting the bikes home I checked all of the parts to include the computer, magnet on the wheel, and the sensor and everything was still in place exactly where I had placed them during installation. This computer is very basic but has everything I need which is the odometer, trip distance, clock, and speed. My tire size was not included in the manual when setting up but directions were provided on Cat Eye's website on how to get an accurate measurement and then what to input in the computer and it worked great. Now the only test will be longevity but so far so good.

Comments about Cat Eye Vectra Wireless Bike Computer:

I use it for commuting and training. I thought the price for a wireless seemed reasonable. I am generally happy with the device. The range of the sensor is limited and therefore must be mounted on the front fork. This prevents me from using it when my bike is mounted on my stationary trainer during the winter. I also had to purchase longer plastic straps/ties to mount the computer to my bike frame.

Comments about Cat Eye Vectra Wireless Bike Computer:

I like it except that the receiver picks up stray signals too easily. I'll find all of a sudden that a mile or two has been added to my total and that somehow I was going 60 or 70 miles an hour. And this isn't just one or two times. It's happened on more days than not in the short time that I have had it.

If you are looking for the basics for your casual ride, this is the computer for you. Easy one button operation lets you easily get to the function you want to keep track of. Could use better instructions as well as something better to mount it than zip ties, but so far they are working.

                Service and delivery comments:

Great communication and prompt delivery. Arrived before estimated delivery time.
