As the description claims, it absorbs moisture in relation to its weight. It weighs very little so it absorbs very little.

I was hoping to use this as a body towel. But even as a face towel it just does not work. It just spreads the water around to parts that have dried by evaporation. It might make a good neck cooler in the heat of summer though.

It has none of the absorbant spongy quality of my MSR personal pack towel(which I like very much), despite being the same fabric content. You would not be able to dry the condensation from the underside of your tent with this towel.

The towel clips into a little bag for storage. The plastic clip, though small, stays with the towel and you have to be mindfull of where it is--you would not want to try this in the dark. My other towel has a small loop that can snap onto my pack and is not so scratchy.

I will try to find something this fabric is good for--wash cloth and bath towel are not its forte.

This towel works very well for backpacking trips. It dries your skin and dries itself very fast just hanging up on a tree.

Bought this towell to attach to my pack and use to dry the sweat off from my face. I use it while hiking and it works great. With the little pocket it comes in it sits out of the way when not in use, or I pull it out and it hangs from the pocket attached to my shoulder strap easy to grab.
Not sure what brand the previous poster bought, but I find it absorbs lots of water. And with that said I use it to not only dry my face, but clean it with a few squirts of water from my waterpouch. I would not only recommend this to friends, but they ask where I got it because they want one too.
