The lightweight and compact Mombasa Defender Insect Shield mosquito net is designed for the individual traveler who needs to pack efficiently. Insect Shield® Repellent adds extra protection.

  • EPA-registered, odorless Insect Shield® Repellent Gear repels mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges
  • Insect Shield uses permethrin which is a man-made version of a natural insect repellent found in a certain type of chrysanthemum plant
  • Invisible Built-In Insect Repellent™ remains effective through 6 months of exposure to weathering or through 25 launderings for washable items; do not dry clean
  • Easy 1-point, spider-shaped suspension system directs net out in a rectangular shape for ample coverage of different bed sizes
  • Includes 6 in. sheeting border to secure under mattress or sleeping pad; can also be secured to ground by a ring on each corner of net
  • Net is woven from strong polyester multifilament fibers
  • Includes small suspension kit and water-resistant stuff sack
  • Please note: mesh is not no-see-um type
