The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Byer Easy Traveller Hammock:
This is a decent hammock, and very light and easy to set up for the money. It'd be good to carry along on a hike to take a break in. There was, however, one flaw: When the hammock is hung, the stitching that runs lengthwise (where the color changes) tends to dig into your back. This isn't that bad if you're in it for a short time, but after 10 min or so, it becomes quite annoying.
Still, despite the flaw, the hammock is a good buy for the money!

I have a backyard hammock but I wanted something for camping. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the nylon feel, or how study it would be. I'm big dude. Turns out this is awesome. Very comfortable. In fact I had to fight to get in it. My fellow campers kept jumping in it.

Comments about Byer Easy Traveller Hammock:
I am a bit concerned about some of the stitching. I set it up on my patio as soon as I got home and found a few threads coming loose. Hopefully more don't come out. But other than that it is super comfortable and super easy to set up. I was laying in it in less than a couple of minutes after pulling it out.
The product description says it it 19 oz, but that is not true. It says on the box that it is 15 oz and I would believe that, as it is very light. Its also really easy to repack in its bag.

Comments about Byer Easy Traveller Hammock:
Because of its inexpensive price, I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of it. I was surprised. It's great for in-between seasons when there is no need to worry about the insects. It's surprising strong and very light in weight.

Comments about Byer Easy Traveller Hammock:
I got two of these to try out. Once they arrived I ran outside to set em up. Which took me all of 2 mins. Where I live we get high wind gusts during this time of year, and today was no exception. Plus living up on the mountain gives me more wind than normal. Today's gusts were about 40 mph, but when I laid down in this it was AWESOME. Of all the things I've bought from REI this is my favorite. My wife and kids loved em too. (my wife is not an outdoors person). But told me to get online and buy two more so all of us can sleep in them on our next camping trip.

I love this hammock more than I do my bedroom matress. It's great for the campsite, relaxing while on the trail or in the backyard on a lazy afternoon.

I got this hammock about a week ago and immediately went out to give it a try. Some people have said it can be a bit hard to set-up, but I think its quite easy. The adjustable toggles on it save you from having to go and buy a slap strap system. It is very light. Mine weighed in at 14 ounces. I am using a lightweight, waterproof tent footprint as a rain fly. I would highly recommend this hammock to anyone. In my opinion this is a great hammock that is equal to other more highly priced hammocks.

Comments about Byer Easy Traveller Hammock:
I got this hammock about a week ago and immediately took it out to test it. Some people on other sites say it is a bit hard and complicated with its micro-rope set-up. I disagree completely. You have an adjustable system that comes with the hammock and in my opinion is quite easy to set-up. Adjust the rope through metal toggle to your needed length, stick it through the loop on the other side of the rope and you're done. No need to go out and by a 20 dollar slap strap system. It is comfortable and you can lay either diagonally or horizontally. Packs up tight and when laying in it you can use the attached packing pouch as an odds-and-ins holder. Also, personally I would not go and buy one of these 60-70 dollar rain fly's. I am just using a cheap, waterproof, and lightweight tent footprint and using that as the fly. Same thing and a heck of a lot cheaper, probably lighter as well. Anyway, after using this I feel like paying the extra 15-20 dollars for an ENO is just paying for the cool logo. Get this one if you just want a good, lightweight hammock.

This is great! I threw out my old couch and hung in the house. I am constantly in it! Only issue was the color; much darker than shown in picture. Basil is more olive green and what looks like cream is tanish/grey. No complaints though. Great buy!
