Comments about Fox Seat Bag - Large:
This bag is a "must pass." I've been through other seatbags that have failed to perform, and this Fox bag is no exception, unfortunately. Used it on a couple rides on my 29er hardtail, and it sways around and then slips out of the velcro strap, and then dangles hanging on by only the seatpost strap. Not very comforting when miles out in the bush and my carkeys and cellphone were that close to being M.I.A. I'm going to return it to REI and continue my search for a seatbag that actually stays on my bike!

Comments about Fox Seat Bag - Large:
I love Fox products but I have to advice shoppers to avoid this seat bag. Even without opening the expansion the bag is roomy to hold a power bar, mountain bike tube, tools, and a CO2 cartridge and still has room to spare. The velcro strap, which goes under the seat and around the bag cinches any extra room to make the bag even more compact which is great. However, the velcro strap just slipped right off the bag the first time I went over a bump and then the bag was left hanging and rubbing on top of the back tire. That became very annoying! I wished I had read the reviews first!

Comments about Fox Seat Bag - Large:
I bought this bag from a local bike shop and have been using it for more than year, switching it from my fix gear to my cyclocross bike depending on the type of riding I'm doing. I was pretty surprised to see that four people gave bad reviews. So I figured I should stick up for it. I mean... its a seat bag... What more do you want? Right? Well I guess the some would prefer it come with installation instructions, or professions installation service.
If you look at the picture you'll notice the bag has a sort of belt loop at the top. If the strap runs through the loop, then over both seat rails, the bag stays put, no matter how loose the strap is adjusted (as long as the hook and loop is engaged), although it will sway from side to side if not tight. Looking at mine, even if the strap were able to slide over the bag (which has never happened), it would still keep the bag from going into my tire.
I've used this for on and off road rides and have never even come close to losing my blow-out kit and cell phone. All in all it's a good roomy bag. Holds a CO2 inflator w/spare CO2, spare inner tube, bike tool, car keys, and cell phone with room to spare, and the strap compresses and holds everything in place.

Comments about Fox Seat Bag - Large:
Like everybody else, I experienced the problem of the bag flopping out of its strap. I had to pin the strap to the bag to keep it secure. Now my only complaint is that it swings back and forth. There are definitely better alternatives.

Comments about Fox Seat Bag - Large:
Avoid this bag. I have been satisfied with other Fox products, but this bag is most certainly not one of them.
While riding, the constant trail vibration causes the bag to slide out from the under-seat Velcro straps. The only way you would know, is by the sound of the bag grinding on your rear tire.
