  • Nylon mesh uppers feature Sensifit™ synthetic leather overlays to secure insteps and lock heels in place
  • Polyester linings wick moisture away from feet; contoured Ortholite® insoles enhance comfort and control odor with an antimicrobial treatment
  • Quicklace™ lacing system takes just 1 pull for a precise fit; lace pocket hides lacing away
  • Protective toe caps guard against bumps and abrasion while gusseted tongues and mud guards keep debris out
  • Agile Chassis System (ACS) integrates 3 components to increase runner efficiency: the skeleton, muscle and tendon
  • Clear thermoplastic inserts and outsole heel wraps act as the skeleton to facilitate heel-to-toe transition and side-to-side stability
  • Dual-density EVA midsoles ensure comfort and responsiveness

    I finally found a shoe that holds my foot snugly enough while allowing for plenty of toe room. Tested these on a 5 mile trail run then wore them in a trail 50k. I knew this was taking a risk but I got lucky. The shoes performed great on the trail, on scree and stream crossings. Drained well. The shoes didn't allow any pebbles or dirt into the shoe. I always take my shoes off after an ultra and switch into flip flops. But these were so comfortable I kept them on after the race, through dinner and on the long drive home. I usually wear an 8 to an 8.5 in running shoes but the 7.5 fits me perfectly so you might want to size down. And I have to mention how nice and light these shoes are yet still stiff enough to provide good support.

      hi i just got these after purchasing the xa comp which were waaaaaaaaaay tooo big i usually wear a 9 and these shoes are an 8 1/2 size down would be good advice.they seem fine and i am sure they will be great i have another pair of xa comps which i love but would steer away from this years xa comps
