Comments about Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze Shoes - Women's:
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had! I bought another pair of Merrell shoes, and liked them so much that I tried this style. I am glad I did. I would buy (and plan to buy) multiple colors of these just in case they are discontinued. The shoes did rub a bit on the heel of my smaller foot, so I put in an insert to take up a little bit of room. This took care of the problem. I can wear these shoes barefoot or with socks, so they are great for all but the coldest weather. All around good shoes.

Comments about Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze Shoes - Women's:
I purchased these shoes for a recent trip to Spain. I wanted something light weight and cool (anticipating hot weather) with a non-slip sole. My feet get overheated easily. I'd had a negative experience in Cuba a couple of months prior. I had a bad fall, tripping up on a marble sidewalk, badly stubbing my toe and spraining an ankle while wearing flip flops (which I'd switched into to cool my hot, tired feet!). I brought four different pairs of shoes to Spain, expecting to need to break these in a wee bit. These were the only ones I wore for the entire time! I cannot understand the previous reviewer's comments. These shoes did not require any breaking in. I wore them for three weeks...every day - all day. We hiked around on cobblestones for 12 hrs/day! I brought band aids but did not need even one! Yes, my feet and legs were a little tired a couple of nights but I have never had a more comfortable pair of shoes for travelling and I am very particular and consider myself to have very sensitive, tender feet! I wore them with bare feet and with different kinds of socks. I chose the taupe colour, which goes with everything and they look very attractive. Since my fall in Cuba, I have been a little nervous about walking on uneven or slippery surfaces. I felt very secure at all times with the closed toe and flexible, gripper-type soles. My daughter is a teacher (on her feet all day long) and is planning to get a pair right away. I highly recommend these shoes! BTW I am a 60 year old woman (I think this style suits all ages!)

Comments about Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze Shoes - Women's:
These shoes were exactly what I was seeking for an upcoming trip: closed toes but breathable, relatively sturdy but also stylish. However, I walked in them for one mile and they rubbed so much against my heel (Achilles tendon area) that they bled. I am extremely disappointed to have to return them because they would be perfect otherwise and were comfortable in every other way.

Comments about Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze Shoes - Women's:
I agree with all the 5 star comments, and I, too, have sensitive feet. I have to wear socks or I get blisters, and that is a pain (no pun intended) when the weather is really hot. I got these for wearing in Paris ths summer. They are as comfortable as my well-used Merrell sneakers, and more stylish. You know how great Parisian women look. I wasn't aiming for high style, but a LITTLE style so I didn't look silly. I wore them everywhere, all day, almost every day. I walked all over the place, and never took the Metro. I could have left my more structured leather shoes home. I wore them with skirts and capris, and to a nice restaurant, which did not kick me out for wearing Merrells with my nice dress. I am going to get the black, for dressier, and the blue, because they are cute. I don't have to wear socks with these shoes and I never used a bandage with them. I am glad they don't have a big M on the side. I live in Chicago, and I think I will have withdrawal soon when I can't wear them to work. Something to look forward to in the spring!

Comments about Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze Shoes - Women's:
I have slightly wide feet and sometimes have to go up a half size for comfort. These fit great in my regular size with out looking like a duck foot.
The insole comes out so you can put in a different style if you wish. I found them very comfortable with or without a sock. If you don't wear socks they look a bit more casual, because you can see you toes through the mesh, and dressier with socks. With a skirt I use a Hide & Seek sock from smartwool that is hidden under the mesh and makes the shoe a solid color. If you use a footy (mini sock) get a really tight one so it doesn't slip down.
I also bought these for a trip but they quickly became my standard work shoe. I commute by bus and find these work well for moving quickly and climbing steps.
I have them in black. I don't think the two tone versions would work with a nice dress.

I bought last year's model of this shoe for a summer trip to Italy and the south of France Although I love wearing leather sandals with heels, these were just as cool but offered more protection for my feet and ankles in the crowds and cobblestones of Florence. The soles are light but supportive. They also look as airy as they feel. I am getting a second pair and I like the new model even better as it doesn't have the big M for Merrill on the side like the first pair and so is a bit dressier. Hope they make a version with a bit of a heel since this seems to be a well-received concept.

These are great shoes! Super comfy and up for a light hike and look great even with a skirt. I have these in black and they will be perfect for my upcoming three weeks in Spain.
