      Comments about Nokian Hakkapeliitta W106 Studded Tire - 700 x 35:

      The Nokian bike tires are simply the best studded options on the market. I used these last season in Anchorage on my cyclocross bike. They are spectacular. Now that I am in Minneapolis, where plowing is a bit more regular, I expect them to continue their fine service.

      An important thing to remember is that the studs help on ice, and make it a much less white knuckle ride, but do not magically crate more flotation. Thus on days with newfallen snow, or worse plow debris, this width tire will still bog down. Glare ice, and hardpacked snow are where these tires shine.
