Comments about Campack Towel - Large:

We take this towel with us when we are motorcycle camping and space is at a premium. I was pleasantly surprised at how absorbent it was and how quickly it dried. I would have liked a bigger towel because, while it is more than adequate for face and neck, drying off after a shower (I'm average size) required several ring outs and it wasn't really up to the task of drying out my hair. But the hair thing is only a problem when it is cold out, so overall a fairly useful little camp towel for the summer.

Comments about Campack Towel - Large:

This towel is attached to my 2-liter Camelbak system via its carabiner. Used it to dry off after a camp shower, it velcros to its mesh bag container to hang from my bag while I hike to dry off. Stuff it back when it dries and it packs smaller than you'd expect. If your going summer backpacking I'd suggest the larger REI towels, but for availability and ease of storage buy this one.

This was my only towel for a 9 day bike trip and it was great. It could be bigger but it would take up more space. It did the job, but didn't get you super dry. What do you expect from something so small. It was great that the sack it came with attached to the towel. You could hang it from your tent a tree or anything. Also it was nice that the sack was mesh so it could get some air and not get too funky.
