I bought four of these for our family. We all love them. Zero taste other than water. I have left the water in them for 2 weeks in the hot summer car and tested the water. Tasted just like it did from the tap. The screw top takes a few too many turns for my liking, but it is okay. The kids have the kids pop-top. One broke the first day as it was dropped on it's top, but that was just the cover. The inner push/twist cap works just fine. They like it better than the regular cap. The bottle keeps the drinks cool for a pretty long time.

We are buying a second set soon.

    I take my SIGG bottles everywhere. I used one hiking the Appalachain trail last year. It made it from the Smokies all the way to Katahdin with only a small dent. I carried whiskey in it. It did retain a slight whiskey smell, so that one became my permanent flask. I bought another one for use around the office. I have not bought a bottled water in over two years. No cases of mistaken identity with the fun SIGG patterns and it keeps water from the fountain nice and cool.
