Mid-height rubber uppers form a tough waterproof barrier to keep slush and puddles at bay
Shaft circumference is 15 in. and based on size 7; measurement is for the outside of the boot shaft and, in general, the internal measurement is roughly 1 in. shorter

This are my go-to boots when it is pouring rain outside since they keep my feet perfectly dry and toasty. The shearling lining is great and the cut is perfect: not too high or short. They're easy to slip in and out of too. I also really like that they have a reflective band at the top, which is useful for evening walks in the rain. I wish REI carried other colors but seriously, these should last me a while.

I've had them for over a year and the rubber is already cracked. They ware out quickly, the can be quite heavy and uncomfortable. But all of this pales in comparison to the fact that i have holes in my rain boots and wet feet.

These keep my feet dry, but they are not comfortable to walk in. They rub at the back of my heels, and my feet don't stay aginst the bottom of the shoe while walking, increasing the rubbing and irritation. Traction is pretty poor, and they are easy to slip in. Size runs small.

I love these boots! I own 3 pairs. I live in northern Alberta (Canada) and I wear these boots everywhere for about 8 months of the year. They are my go to for everyday wear, walking my 3 dogs, shoveling snow, quading and anything and everywhere. My feet are always warm and dry and I would tell everyone to buy a pair or 2 or 3...
My only complaint is they don't last at colder temperatures, like -20 C is the coldest I would wear these, the seams split and then there is leakage. Where I live its way to cold for salt and so I have zero traction problems cause we put sand on sidewalks and don't plow all the snow off roads (just pack it down). I have never slipped wearing these boots.

These are sooo comfy and warm--I often wear them all day. The colors are pretty great--I have a couple pairs and always get compliments on the blue ones. My feet stay dry, my feet stay warm, I don't slip on icy sidewalks, and they've lasted through our mounds-of-salt-on-the-sidewalks winters. Love 'em!
