Comments about DC Scout Boa Snowboard Boots:
Snowboard boots, like all shoes in general, are a matter of personal preference. Try on as many pairs as you can and buy the ones that feel the best. Otherwise you'll have an experience like the reviewer below. I have been using these boots all season and haven't encountered any of the issues he cites.
I'm a 12, and the boots fit like a 12. True, they started out a bit tight, but they packed out well and now fit fine. No issue at all with the width either. He is correct that you can tighten the BOA to the point where it cuts of circulation, but I'm not sure why you would want to do that anyways. I could yank the laces on my chuck taylors to achieve the same effect, but I don't...
My only complaint is that they don't have separate adjustments for the upper and lower boot, but that tends to not be a feature of a boot in this price range.
The bottom line is that you get a lot of boot for your money with these DC's. I was hard-pressed to find another pair of BOAs that felt this good in this price range.

Comments about DC Scout Boa Snowboard Boots:
I have 10+ year old lace up Flow's that feel better and don't cut off circulation to my feet.
The BOA system is the nicest thing about these boots. Otherwise, they are either too small or too big and never wide enough. The outer layer of vinyl or "leather" is peeling off after one day on the mountain in the bindings.
The BOA system with the inner boot is for people with _really_ weak ankles and NO calf muscles. If you actually have either of them, look elsewhere for a boot.
Even though the BOA can be tightened enough to cut the circulation of your toes, it doesn't prevent your heal from lifting. A real boot is designed to prevent that!
