Rated5out of5bynytepnthrfromA Mighty LiteI really like this jacket it is more water resistant than advertised. With a fleece vest underneath it will go quite far with cold activities.
I use this jacket everyday rain or shine. it is light and airy when unzipped in 50-65 degrees. The sleeves are roomyand comfortable when cool and dry. It could REALLY use some pit zips because heat and humidity makes the shoulders and arms cling and pull way too much. The hood covers without causing blind spots. the material is easy to clean. All together a fantastic purchase.

Rated3out of5bytbakefromGood, light jacketI use it when riding when it is cool outside (above 55 degrees) and when it is raining. It is very light and packs small. The only inconvenience is when I'm riding in cool weather, the humidity from my body builds up in the sleeves and it is somewhat like having a tropical rain forest in the sleeves. Overall, I like this jacket and recommend its use.

Rated5out of5bylyrac5fromMan's Umbrella- but doesn't breatheMy husband is a dog walker and uses this in the "micro" climates. He thinks of this jacket as a "man's umbrella". Something that he can keep in his truck that doesn't take up a lot of space and he can just throw this on when it rains. Perfect to take on hiking trips because it folds nicely, and when your in a jam, totally waterproof. Very comfortable but doesn't breathe AT ALL.

Rated5out of5byMedic29fromWorth the purchaseI bought this jacket when I started early this year. I haven't been out in the real cold to test it's warmth but the times I have been it's been windy and it does block the wind.
Haven't had the opportunity to test the water proofing yet. Give me another month or so.

Rated3out of5byUnbrbldeathfromehI didnt expect it to not breathe at all. I works great at keeping you dry from the rain the only problem is that it will make you sweat with the slightest exertion. This works great as a sweat suit top though.

Rated1out of5byneversitsdownfromDisappointed.I mainly used this jacket as a light rain shell and left it in my bag for when the weather takes a turn for the worst, but it really didn't do much. Yes it's compact and lightweight, but it is not by any means waterproof/water resistant or windproof. I wore it for all of less than 10 minutes in the rain (not a very hard rain, mind you) and the material was already soaked through like a cotton t-shirt. It doesn't hold up against the wind either, especially not a combination of the elements. In addition, the sleeves were excessively long compared to the body of the jacket, which I found strange, uncomfortable, and inconvenient. Overall, I was disappointed by this jacket (even for the price) and will continue to try other brands like North Face for my gear.
