Comments about UGG Cove Boots - Women's:
In my opinion -- and the worker at a shoe store -- these boots run about a size small. If you want to buy things from REI (as I do) but want to double-check sizing (pretty critical) then you should seek them out at a shoe store to get the correct sizing, THEN buy them at REI.
These boots look great with jeans, don't know that I'd wear them with anything but jeans/trousers, and even though they are very stylish for boots, they're not exactly a fashion statement.
I was expecting a nice soft UGG boot when I first tried them on, but they have a very hard footbed, so would not want to wear them for a long day of anything like standing/walking/etc. Because these run a bit on the narrow side, I wear very thin wool socks with them to bolster the warmth factor as much as possible -- I bought them to use as winter errand/shopping boots, and that's about all they're up for.
I checked with our local REI and they did not have these in-store for me to buy or try on, and said that they did not anticipate getting them in-store at any point. These boots are very popular and fairly expensive, so if you're able, track down a pair to try on before buying!
Tie the laces tight! I usually have to re-tie them a couple of times during the course of wearing.
In summary: great-looking boots, particularly with jeans/trousers, love them enough to want a pair in each of the colors, don't wear them if you're planning an all-day excursion because the footbeds are hard, these are not boots for stomping around in snow, they are great for keeping feet warm while doing errands or going to movies or something like that, and definately double-check the size that you need before buying!

Not only super comfortable & toasty but good looking. I wear these with jeans, shorts, skirts...whatever.
Need more colors! Definately for casual wear only...not built for a rugged trudge.

Comments about UGG Cove Boots - Women's:
I was a little worried when I read the last review that they fit small and narrow because I didn't have anywhere to try them on before I ordered them. In my opinion, they fit totally true to size. I was also worried when the last review said that the soles are hard and she couln't wear them all day walking. I'm used to Danskos and a good solid arch support. I stand some of the day at work, and these boots feel great! They have great arch support (although not as defined as Dansko) and cup your heal just right.
I also think they are so cute! They aren't bulky on the foot so look very stylish with jeans (which is what I wear at work).
I couldn't be more happy!

I use the boots in the city. I like the style, the boots are warm and attractive, but they aren't waterproof, which, for me, is a significant minus point.

I love these booties. They are very comfortable & I love the sole composition. You need to think of them as more of a cute street shoe & not as a traditional shearling Ugg. They are NOT warm & fuzzy inside. They are also NOT rugged outdoor boots! They are very well made & there is very short, nubby, shearling fleece lining inside the bootie, but not on the sole. The inside sole is lined in suede. The bootie is very comfortable to wear barefoot though. I tried these on in a store so I knew how they fit. I normally wear a USA size 8.5 but I bought a size 9 because they only come in whole sizes & I figured I might wear sox sometimes. Later on, I bought another pair in a size 10 so I could fit some shearling insoles inside to make a warmer bootie. It worked out great & I wear the size 10 pair with the insole barefoot, just like a traditional Ugg! These are cute booties too & I wear mine with jeans & skirts!

This is my first pair of uggs and I am regretfully disappointed. I had read other reviews explaining that the foot sole is hard leather but that didn't concern me because the claim was that these particular uggs were warm and cozy - they are not! Traction is lousy - I slip slightly walking on snowy sidewalk. The laces coming untied was a bit of a nuisance at first, but once you tie them tight enough they seem to stay put. My major complaint is that I expected warm and toasty and get cold toes instead. Last week we walked in a parade (20 degree F) and I wished I could return the shoes and get something different.

These are my first pair of Uggs. A friend of mine purchased a pair and loved them, but she wanted a different color. I tried on hers and was instantly smitten. Needless to say, she didn't need to send them back for an exchange. I doubt I would ever have ordered a pair if I hadn't tried them on first. I rarely spend so much money on shoes. But I have to say, these were worth every penny!
I didn't have any problem with "breaking them in". They were comfortable right from the start. They're like wearing house slippers all day!! I wore them all fall, winter, and spring last year and was a bit sad when I had to put them away for the summer. But they're back in full swing and are holding up very, very well.
I try not to wear them in the rain beause I'm afraid of damaging them, but I've gotten caught with them in wet weather many times and haven't had any problems. They still look great.
I tend to have sweaty feet. I have a hard time wearing leather because my feet get so hot. But I haven't had a single problem with these shoes. They breathe very well.
If I had to list a single con, it would be the laces. You do have to double tie them, and even then they sometimes come loose. It's also a bit difficult to pull them tight because of the way they wrap around. But the pros FAR outweigh any issues I have with the laces!
Don't buy these boots for hiking or hard wear. That's not their intended use. They're great for casual wear around town and to work.
Highly recommended!
FYI - This is the first review I've EVER posted on any item of clothing. That's how much I love these boots.

Comments about UGG Cove Boots - Women's:
These definitely run a half size too small and are much darker than the photo in color. A very stylish boot (great with skirts or pants)~The arch support is good, but the overall warmth and comfort that I expect from an Ugg isn't there. I think I will return these.
