Good size reservoir and nice amount of area for storage. It fit well.
The valve system is so unwieldy that it is impossible to run and drink at the same time on the trail. It would also not be useful for biking.

i use this for biking, and it's just ok. the bag has a lot of capacity for tools, snacks, etc., but many bags have adequate capacity, so that doesn't really set this bag apart from the rest. i think what does set it apart is that it has a very poor bite valve design. it's sometimes very difficult to get water out of it, and that can be frustrating because when you finally get your drink you have to catch your breath all over again.

This is a good hydration pack with extra pockets for carrying necessities. I have not had a problem with the valve on long hikes and mountain biking.

I mountain bike in Southern NV. Water is important. I may need a bigger pack for summer. In addition to water I take tools, tubes and a first aid kit. The mesh pack carries a couple of protien bars, glasses and camera. Great for a half day trip.
