The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
First off, I would not order this bra online. I wear a 36D-38D, depending on the bra manufacturer. According to the Moving Comfort sizing chart, I should be a 40B. Instead, the bra which turned out to fit me was a 38C. The cups for the D cup are pretty much enormous -- they are way bigger than my everyday D-cup bras, and look like at least a DDD to me. You should actually go to an REI retail outlet, if one is available in your area, and try on several different sizes. Otherwise, be prepared for a few rounds of exchanges in the mail. However, once you find the correct size for your own unique boobage, this is a great sports bra. I am really susceptible to chafing, and with an inferior sports bra, I bounce so much that my entire upper body gets sore. This bra cut the bounce down to the bare minimum, and didn't chafe at all. I find it to be extremely comfortable. The bra does have a slightly weird construction -- there are two separate layers of fabric which sort of slide over each other when you're putting the bra on, but it doesn't affect the bra's performance or comfort once it's on. The other thing is that the seams on this beast are[*] HUGE, so they are basically guaranteed to show through any T-shirt you are wearing. Also, the neck of the bra comes up really high, so if you like to wear lower-cut shirts when you work out, the bra will show through.I like this bra a lot though, and I will probably buy it again.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
I'm a 34D who is not exactly firm and perky. I need support, or I end up with sore everything (breasts, chest, shoulders) and bad chafing on top of it all. I've tried so many bras over the years, and this is the first one that actually fits well and provides good support and some shape. I run anywhere from 3-8 miles daily and have no complaints.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
I've tried several sports bras and this is the only one that I've bought again and again. If you are large breasted and enjoy high impact sports this is the bra for you. Unlike another reviewer, I found that this bra is true to size. I wear a 34DD in my everyday bras and a 34DD in the Maia. I don't mind the high neck feature on this bra - sports bras are strictly about function as far as I'm concerned. The Maia truly delivers a sports bra that minimizes motion, and it is breathable - and it doesn't give the wearer a "unibreast" look. I run 15-20 miles a week and I wouldn't think of running in any other bra. It is also a great bra for the times I go to the gym to lift weights.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
This bra is the best sports bra I have used in the past 12 years. I'm a runner and I've also had a mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. So, I'm a bit of an odd size as well as not uniform as one breast is slightly larger than the other. I've had a terrible time finding bras that can handle those issues! But this bra fits great, offers superior support and is comfortable for everyday use. The separate inner liner of each breast allows for size difference and the high front is better for me because other bras have cut into my cleavage and caused chafing as well as bleeding if I run long distances; the high front completely prevents all of this. I have one blue bra that actually looks like a cami under a buttoned shirt.
I don't like the underwire, so I removed it and I still have all the support I need. I have not even found a specialized mastectomy that offers this type of wonderful support and comfort.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
I have been wearing a bra under my sports bra for over 5 years.I run, hike and most of all I do zumba which involves a lot of bouncing (I wear a 32 DD). Even with two bras my breast would still bounce. After buying this bra (which I found by accident),I now have no more problems with bouncing and soreness. I have truly found the perfect bra for me. I have one in each color, wish there were more colors. Love it, Love it, Love it.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
This bra is awesome - I'm online to buy my 3rd pair right now. I will say that the cup size seems a little off. I'm usually a 34DD, but 34D in this bra fit perfectly. Not only do I wear this bra to the gym, but I wear it to work all the time because I love the fit.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
I've worn the Maia sports bra for many years after having tried many others. This is now the only sports bra I'll use. I wear a 34DD and I'm 55 years old so support is very important to me. The Maia delivers both support and comfort. I went for a 3 mile run this morning and found the adjustable straps to be a great improvement to a bra that was already near perfect. I've worn the older version with non-adjustable straps for running, skiing and gym workouts and found it was very comfortable, even when worn all day. I think this new version will be even more comfortable. I totally agree with other reviewers who recommend getting a professional bra fitting before investing in this bra or any other bra. (I don't think REI offers this service, but [...] and other retailers do). I wear the same size in the Maia bra as other everyday bras in my wardrobe.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
I wear a 36D and picked up the Maia sports bra. I already have the Cara and between the two I like Cara a lot better.
The Maia is a sturdy, thick bra; there's almost an inner and outer bra, which makes it a bit warmer than some of MC's other bras. It does have durable no-slip straps and a comfortable underwire.
My first real beef about this bra is about the chafing. The first long-ish run I wore it on, it chafed my chest badly around where the underwire is, toward the center of the bra. It has been a month, the chafing scabs have healed, but I still have marks from where this happened. Now I try to wear this only for shorter distance runs and make sure I put a ton of anti-chafe on before wearing it; my Cara bra never has this problem.
My other real beef about this bra is the center or "neck" of the bra. It comes up really high, which means I wouldn't wear this bra for everyday use because it's not conducive to tops with any sort of scoop or v-neck. I'd love to see this retooled with a more feminine cup, as long as it didn't give up control and support.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
Up until a few weeks ago I used those stretch-tight scary sports bras to contain my larger chest. The cheap unsupportive "bras" I used to buy from [...] just weren't making the cut now that I've started a running regimen. I ordered two of these in white in my size, 34DD. As far as sizing goes, I think I could maybe go a band size down (32 DDD) because for it to feel sports-bra-like I need it on the third hooks. However, that could be just because I'm used to ultra-tight sports bras that just compress everything. I barely moved around at all while running. Highly recommended.
Service and delivery comments:
My delivery was very prompt in appropriate sized boxes.

Comments about Moving Comfort Maia Sports Bra:
It's hard to find a comfortable, supportive sports bra if you're busty! I think I've tried every one out there, and this one is probably my favorite. I think I own 3 of them. Comfortable, supportive, and wears well. I love that it breaths well, and that the straps stay put. The straps are pretty wide too; they don't cut into my shoulders.
