Comments about Repel Sportmens Max 40 Insect Repellent:
In southeast Alaska between frequent rains, the mosquito population becomes outrages. During hunting or birding activities, the REPEL Sportmens Max was very effective in preventing any bites to exposed skin from insects even though I attract them in droves.
Due to the carabiner style clip and flip top cover, the product can be readily available for use. The cream/lotion was applied as directed, had virtually no order, was completely absorbed into the skin, and no harmful results or reactions were experienced.
The container is a little bulky to pack and the lid could be pulled open if hung form the pack while moving through thick undergrowth. In hot sweaty conditions, the duration of effectiveness is reduced by about one third. Since you are advised not to apply the lotion under clothing, you may receive bites through clothes.

Comments about Repel Sportmens Max 40 Insect Repellent:
Bought this bug repellent for a backpacking trip in Kings Canyon National Park, and the mosquitoes had a field day!
The repellent doesn't last nearly half of the time it states, and comes off very easily when sweating. I got a lot of mosquito bites.
