I have used this product (or the previous versions) on three different road bikes for everyday commuting to double centries to training and racing in crits/TTs/road races, etc. They are fantastic! Last a very long time, handle great in wet weather (much better than Vittoria Rubino Pro's) and are incredibly puncture proof. They are expensive but last at least twice as long as several other competitors.

These tires instantly increase the performance of your bike. They are lightweight, and roll like butter. Super grippy, and yet very durable for tons of debris and potholes (like the streets in Seattle). Bonus: it's super comfortable to ride as it absorbs vibration and road irregularities very well.I bought these to replace the stock tires that came with my bike (Maxxis Fuse, which I had two flats on it in 250 miles) and it's probably has the best price-to-performance ratio than all of my other upgrades. Off the bat, you can easily feel how much thicker these tires are. You can easily feel the grippiness, too. The grey part of the tire feels just like an eraser.Yes, these tires are a bit expensive but it's the best [$] I've spent on my bike so far. Note: Michelin Pro 3 comes in a variety of cool colors but REI only sells the black/grey version.

A Triathlete, you expect your gear to work on race day with no flaws, and with this tire I never really have to worry about getting a puncture flat. I had the Pro2 and then upgraded and boy what a difference. These tires are amazing, and i have like 6 of them sitting in my closet because I stocked up on them when they went on sale. Best tire I have owned so far. Wouldn't recomend anything else
