We love, love, love this boat! We purchased this kayak last year to enjoy the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted something that I could paddle solo or with another friend or family member. It has plenty of room for two adults and a small dog or child in the center seat. I imagine that you could carry all of your camping gear for two people without any problem. A solo camping/fishing trip would be even easier. We have had it in flat water, class II rapids and light offshore swells without any trouble. The only drawback is the position of the rear Scotty rod mounts. They are in the way of the rear paddler. I like to keep the rods in the mounts and troll but the rear mounts keep me from paddling in the rear seat. They work nicely from the center/solo position. That can be adjusted by trolling from a crate mounted in the rear well. Save the rear mounts for solo fishing trips. I am a big guy 6'1" 240lbs. This boat hauls me around with no problem at all. Tracks very nicely. I've recieved great comments from other river rats about this boat.
