Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Waistpack:
This waist hydration pack looked good upon arrival. Seemed to be high quality material and loved the idea of both a water bottle and energy gel container. However, everything went wrong when I decided to test it out during some trail running. The pack constantly "sloshes" back and forth due to the constant loosening of the straps. During my hour run I would say that half the time I had to stop to re-tighten the staps. I'm not extra skinny or anything like that. I have a waist size of a 32, but the straps would constantly loosen to two sizes bigger while running. I'm guessing this pack would suit someone that was just looking at walking or hiking. However, according to this description "Go the distance! The Elite 1 Plus waistpack from Nathan helps you run farther, stay hydrated and expand your personal fitness limits," I would hardly say it fits the bill.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Waistpack:
The buckle broke as I was adjusting the straps. I had it replaced by REI, and it happened again. I will never buy a Nathan product again!

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Waistpack:
This product was used while distance running. The gel container fell out and then the fluid bottle fell out due largely to the inability to securely adjust the belt to a 32 inch waist resulting in excessive bounce. Avoid this product.

Comments about Nathan Elite 1 Plus Waistpack:
Works great overall. Had it for about 5 months already, and have used it at least once a week, on everything between street runs and steep up/down trail runs. Elastic waist strap is very comfortable. Minimal bounce, and doesn't get in the way of swaying arms during running. The only problem I had with it is the pull tab on the elastic drawstring cord for cinching down a light windbreaker came off once. I had to take the tab apart and recrimp it onto the elastic cord (hence the one less star, otherwise its a 5 star). Perfect since!
