Comments about Kokatat Gore-Tex Front-Entry Dry Suit with Relief Zipper and Socks - Men's:

Best drysuit ever. I've owned it for over 8 years. I've used this for racing catamarans and whitewater kayaking and rafting. It keeps you dry and comfortable so long as you wear the appropriate undergarments. If you are wet, its because you did something wrong.

I've used this in everything from big rain squalls, 85 degree windy days on the water, and down to 36 degree water with the right undergarments and its kept me dry and comfortable.

The product is very durable but I had it delaminate in a small spot after several years of very heavy use and it was replaced free of charge from the Kokatat. Not only is it a great product but the company stands behind its stuff all the way. Just called the vendor, sent it in, and received a call saying they were replacing it no questions asked. You certainly do not see that too often from vendors. I would highly recomend this product and company (no I don't work for them nor am I affiliated with them in any way--just use their products).

Comments about Kokatat Gore-Tex Front-Entry Dry Suit with Relief Zipper and Socks - Men's:

Yes its pricey, but trust me its worth it. You will need to spend some time adjusting the arm and neck seals to your body. I ended up having to trim both the neck and the wrists - even after stretching them out for weeks it was still too tight. Cut about 1/2" off the neck and 1/4" off the wrist seals. Before I did this it was so tight I was loosing feeling in my hands and was honestly getting light headed...not a good thing.

However, with the small alterations complete, it works like a charm.

I just loved the lightness and the comfort it provided. Very easy to put on and take off. Built in socks make such a differnce. No extra Gasket on my ankles that was a big big relief. You Got to have it you'll love it.

Comments about Kokatat Gore-Tex Front-Entry Dry Suit with Relief Zipper and Socks - Men's:

Great Drysuit. Use it up here in northern Alaska for pack rafting. Can be tight at first, stretching the neck and wrist is recommended before wearing, eventually gets more relaxed. I wear my uniform under this on patrols, and stay dry all day. If you get hot, just jump in the water. They make a drop seat access for females.

Comments about Kokatat Gore-Tex Front-Entry Dry Suit with Relief Zipper and Socks - Men's:

This is a great drysuit - does all it claims to do. Went kayaking this spring in MN when the air temp was 20 degrees. 2 layers of expedition long underwear combined with this drysuit and I was dry and warm even after 2 swims. Suit is tough and stands up to being dragged along a rocky riverbed too. Good stuff.

Comments about Kokatat Gore-Tex Front-Entry Dry Suit with Relief Zipper and Socks - Men's:

The dry suit is great! Hard to get on and off, but that is par for drysuits. As a female, I can't use the relief zipper, even with an anatomically shaped funnnel. I justified the expense as I was going to paddle anyway, but more likely to survive accidental immersion in cold water with a drysuit
