I have a large chest, and had a hard time finding a PFD that was comfortable. I tried many on in the store, and finally settled on this one. I took my kayak out recently for a couple hour paddle, and was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this was. Definitely recommend this one!

I had a Stearns paddling PFD which had several nice feastures (front pockets, mesh for cooling, many ways to adjust, etc); however it was uncomfortable in the back in the way it felt against my kayak seat. This Stohlquist has all the features I liked--and more as described in the specs. In addition, the design of the back lets it be comfy when I'm in my kayak seat. I am 5'9", 140#, and wear a size 12 top. The M/L is a perfect fit with many adjustments for my preferences. And the blue color is very becoming.
