Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Microfiber Mummy Liner - Special Buy:
After trying a S2S reactor I needed something better. This is a great alternative light weight and small. I like that this actually has a side opening which makes getting in easier. I added some more hook and loop to the opening to help keep it closed. You could probably also add some snaps or something. I don't know how durable this will be as I have only used it for a season but I am sure it will hold up a lot better than its see through counterpart from S2S
And at the price you can't beat it.
Service and delivery comments:
REI initially delivered a woman's coat instead of the liner but the people at REI were great and exchanged it and sent the correct item out right away.

Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Microfiber Mummy Liner - Special Buy:
This liner is comfortable material (though not as soft as other reviews led me to expect) and packs very easily into its small stuff sack. Do not expect it to significantly increase your mummy bag's temperature rating, though I'm sure it doesn't hurt. My one complaint is that the opening on the side goes down too far, and there is a single velcro closure at the top of the side, but it rarely stays closed, and is not enough to secure the entire side.

Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Microfiber Mummy Liner - Special Buy:
Bought this for my Lafuma 600 45* bag. It fits nicely, and is very comfortable. The fabric is soft like fancy cotton bed sheets but its made of polyester. Adds a little bit of warmth to the bag.
Just an FYI, the opening of the bag is held "shut" by a small, 1 inch piece of rip and stick at the top. The rest of the opening (about a foot and a half) will remain agap. The hood is tightened by pulling the rope on the left side only, then tie it to the fixed rope on the right side. This packs down incredibly small, a little bigger than my fist.

Packs small and feels good. Haven't used it yet but I'll be sure to break it in over the next 6 months in Argentina.
