Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
I've never had a better purse/ First found it when making plans to travel to South Africa to visit family 3 years ago/ Now have 2 of them myself (summer-winter) and have "sold" them to 4 other friends making plans to travel abroad to Africa/ Perfect placement, safety, and accessibility for passport in protected velcro pocket, and perfect place for paperback book plus boarding pass and air ticket in back slot/ lots more slots for 2 water bottles, hand sanitizer, gum, sunglasses, pen, paper, etc.--and this all IN ADDITION to the main compartment. This MUST have been designed by a bright and practical WOMAN!

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
This bag is amazing. I was a little concerned about buying it without seeing more photos, but it came to me far more amazing than I expected. I bought this item in grape and love the color. Its a faded purple-mulberry sort of color and it looks great. There are two bottle compartments which makes it easy for me to carry it on either side, or carry my 4 year olds water bottle as well. The pockets are practical so you don't have to do a much digging at all. It is large enough to organize a few more items than you might normally, but still small enough for everyday use and can be brought into anywhere without feeling as though you are carrying luggage. This item is perfect and is my new favorite bag!

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
Side pockets easily hold 1/2 liter bottles or a compact umbrella. Zippered main compartment is big enough to hold essentials and a good-sized camera, portable GPS, DS game system, guide book, and more. Organization panel avoids the annoying magnets that mess up your credit cards by using velcro instead. What I really love about this bag is that it doesn't look like a camping bag, it looks like a normal purse. The water bottle pockets neatly vanish when you remove the bottle.

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
I love this bag! The two side water-bottle pockets are also great for anything else you want right at hand (lotion, sanitizer, cell phone, granola bars, etc.), and they lie flat when not in use, unlike all-mesh varietites. The back slit pocket is perfect for maps, tickets, small guide books, keys, tissues -- whatever you need super-accessible on a given day. The middle compartment holds everything else, and has an inner slit pocket for some division of space. The front flap opens to an organizer. I keep BandAids, pens, notepaper, and a calculator in this section. The manufacturer offers more detailed pictures of the sections.
I've had this bag for 4 years in an all-black variation. I've taken it on numerous trips, and it's my usual daily bag. I love that I can adjust the strap and wear it cross-body: perfect for not forgetting my purse anywhere. It's neutral enough that my husband will carry it, too. It has held up fabulously with nary a rip or scratch.
The only downside: It's not available in leather, for a slightly dressier look. That'd make a great second bag. But it is a fantastic, durable bag as is!

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
I have used this bag almost everyday for the last several years. I have it in an older grass green color, and it's even gone to South Africa, Eastern and Southern Europe with me! It's just big enough to fit an 8.5" by 11" notebook, has the convenient side pockets that fit water bottles, and all of the little organizer pockets make it easy to find the small but important things. My only minor complaint is that the smaller inside pocket does not fasten shut (this might be different in the newer bags) so there have been some times when I've accidentally flipped my bag over and had some of the contents of that pocket fall out (like tampons... awkward). Spare that small detail, this bag is perfect!

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
This is a very useful bag. I am a big fan of the practical Overland bags and had a small Placer bag. The Donner bag is amazing for travel. It can hold small water bottles on the side pockets which can also be used for things which need quick access such as sunglasses, tissues or sunblock and lipblock. It has numerous compartments on the front flap which organizes your small articles such as lotions, lipgloss, pens. There is a roomy inner compartment which can easily fit a generously sized book. There is a back pocket which I used to stash maps and tourism brochures for easy acess. I used it for travel to a conference but liked it so much, I was using it in the conference (in lieu of my stylish leather bag) and now on my daily commute.

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
I have been looking for a bag that I can use as a small diaper bag. I needed something hands-free to run in and out of stores and play around at the park. My diaper bag is much too big. I can fit my wallet, two diapers, wipes, a water bottle for me and one for my kids, and a little toy and hand sanitizer. A mom can really get carried away lugging too much stuff everywhere. It's perfect and lets me be on the go much more easily! I love this bag.

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
I love this bag! I used it exclusively for over a year and recently switched to something else. It seems to be of high quality construction. I've put it through the ringer in the past year, and it still looks good and nothing has broken. I love how easy it is to access everything I need, and it's a great size. I use it as a small messenger bag and can cram a surprising amount of stuff in it. I love the water bottle holders/ umbrella holders, and the small zipper pouch on the front. My only complaints: the velcro closure on the front, and the strange colors that it comes in. I bought mine about 16 months ago in a lime color, and I love the bag, but am a little tired of the color. I've considered buying another one in a different color, but the colors I've seen since then seem too dull or uninspired. This bag is a great travel bag!

I use this bag as my purse when I travel...holds two water bottles and enough room for essentials. It is very durable, closes securely and made of great material that helps it stay clean and dry! Mine has been to Italy, Paris and Greece! Off to Mexico next!!!!

Comments about Overland Equipment Donner Bag - Women's:
Purchased the Donner bag to use on our last trip to Disneyland. No problem carrying my daily essentials along with our Sony camcorder and two water bottles. Worked out much better for me than the backpack I used to carry. Now use it on a daily basis. Carry my wallet, small make-up bag, another small bag with tylenol, shout wipes, etc., a medium size organizer and other odds and ends.
The only minor complaint I have with this bag is the strap. The material used is a little slippery so it takes some time to get it set on your shoulder.
