I bought these for climbing and for that I couldn't ask for more. The range of motion I get in these is incredible. The downside: I don't see these being ultra durable but I have yet to try out that theory. In my opinion, that is a okay exchange for the lightweight breathable material. FYI: The Coffee Bean color is not what it looks like in the photo - it's more of a hunter green crossed with brown. Also, I typically take a size down in this brand. I'm usually a size 6 (waist: 27", hip: 36") but in these I am a 4. Overall, would recommend.

I needed to loose some weight and the only excercise I truely enjoy is hiking. I needed the clothes to go with the activity. The first pair arrived, the material was extremely soft and the range of motion needed for hiking was fantastic. They wick the moisture away from body to help keep cool and dry super fast. Also, I have spilled water on my pants and it just beads away to easily wipe off with hands. I have lost 47 pounds and have bought every single size a long the way. Never any rips or seam issues. I have fallen plenty of times and been in thick, overgrown brush. If I had to pick something to complain about...It would be that the cargo pockets are too small.

These pants are awesome for hiking in overgrown trails and climbing. The range of motion they provide is unparrelled, in the knees, in the crotch. They are extremely soft to the touch, they dry quickly, the material and construction are of high quality. They are well worth the $$. [...] I need more. I am a larger lady size 14 and they are fantastic.

In an earlier review I said I wasn't sure about the durability of these pants. I was totally wrong. After about a dozen climbs which included hugging/scraping knees and thighs on the rock, a camping trip and several bush-wacking hikes, there's not a run in them. These and the Arcteryx Gamma MX are the best pants I own!

I am a larger lady and the range of motion available in these pants are awesome. Kept me dry and cool. Only thing I could use is, a larger cargo pocket and one on both sides of leg. I am left handed and the 1 cargo pocket is on the right side. Stupid problem to have, just is...But pants are great.

I didn't want to invest in the casual dress pants that cost aplenty for work anymore (that I didn't wear anywhere else but work) and had this great idea to invest in nice outdoor wear that I can also wear to work. I work in a casual style health clinic and I have patients' compliment on the good style. Great on the trail, dry fast when they do get wet. A classic, kill two birds with one stone...but wait, I would never do that.
