Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
Had to write in because I wore this jacket outside, all morning in a major downpour (no umbrella). It was also a mere 40 degrees F outside, at best. I stayed completely dry and warm. I am a solid medium and the jacket is quite snug but in a fitted, fashionable way. I was a bit worried about the snug fit at first but I can still get a fleece jacket or vest underneath for added warmth[...]

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I bought this jacket in preparation for NW rainy days, and unfortunately I'm going to have to return it. It is an ok jacket, but there are several things that just aren't quite good enough. I wore it out once, biking in the rain. I had bare arms and they felt cold and clammy from a bit of sweat, and the cuffs are not adjustable so my wrists were always exposed. The jacket is tight under the arms and I know that it would be too small for a fleece layer underneath to fit comfortably. Other than those two things, it seems ok, but not the right jacket for me.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I wear this jacket year round and keep it in my trunk when not using just in case I need it! It looks great whether over my professional clothing, casual weekend ware, around town, or out for a walk. It is the perfect coat; warm but never hot. Keeps me perfectly dry walking in pouring rain, great for travelling since it is warm & waterproof, comfortable in any weather, breathes and doesn't take up much space. Wore it daily on a trip to Europe with layers and stayed warm. Kept me dry on a long walk on the beach in the pouring rain. Perfect for intermittent rain/drizzle in the Northwest.
Snugness in the hips is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating;I wish it was a bit more roomy because up another size & it is too roomy on top. I love this jacket, though. Don't leave home without it!

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
The jacket is very well made and really stylish. And Logan color is great! However, I am about 5'4" and weigh around 140 lbs. Not thin, but certainly not a huge person. I had to buy an extra-large for it to not be really tight across the hips, which is ridiculous. Usually I wear a medium. Which would be fine, except for the fact that, by the time you get to x-lg, the arms are for an orangutan. And because there is a zipper at the cuffs, it will be too expensive to have the arms shortened, so I'll have to wear the cuffs rolled up. Also, it is very thin, with no insulation at all, so definitely not for cooler weather. I bought it because it is so hard to find a jacket now-a-days that is not waist length and will cover to tops of thighs. Plus I had a good coupon. But I will return it in the fall if I locate a similar one with some thin insulation, so that it is more versatile.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
This has become my favorite coat here in the rainy Pacific NW. It keeps me dry and is stylish. It is slim in fit, and works best with light layers underneath. This coat would not work well with bulky sweaters/layers underneath. I get compliments on it every time I wear it.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I love the look of this jacket, it's something I will wear with jeans or work clothes. The only con is that it's cut small at the hips. I'm usually a medium and had to go up a size so that I could easily zip it up.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I love it. It's light enough to wear all the time, with layers or without. It's stylish in an active sense. I've received comments on it from day one. I live in Los Angeles, CA so our weather is not too extreme - keep that in mind when you purchase but I recommend as a staple item. I'm 5'1, average build and the XS fits perfectly. Good luck and enjoy!

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
I'm 5'2" - 110 lbs and bought a small. It fits great except it can be a little tight at the bottom when sitting but it does have the dual zipper, so it's not a problem. I have been wearing this coat from spring - late fall. I add a fleece if it's colder out and it's a great combo for Oct/Nov weather in MN. I also grab it in the summer for rain -- it's not the best rain coat but it's nice to have a versatile coat that works for all weather esp if you don't remember your rain coat that day. I love the fit of this coat and I can't say that with other NF coats. I tried to buy a small winter coat and it didn't fit, but the K coat fits great. I also like the red color -- I wear it to work over professional attire and over jeans.

Comments about The North Face Kaya Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is great. I'm always a little cautious about ordering clothes online but I stuck with the sizing guide and it fits perfectly. I just wore it outside in a downpour to walk the dog and I'm totally dry. It is exactly what I was wanting when I ordered it.
