Comments about Columbia River M16-13Z E.R. Knife:
When you are ready to graduate to the big leagues... this is the knife to purchase. I'd sooner leave the first aid kit behind before forgetting to attach this knife to my side. I made my purchase in December and it is still razor sharp!

Comments about Columbia River M16-13Z E.R. Knife:
This knife ships with an edge that can shave hair off your leg. It's well made and while the extra locking lever required a slightly different approach I've found this to be a very easy knife to use one handed. The blade can be opened in one swift motion without even needing a wrist flick and the kinfe with minimal pratice can be easily close using just one hand. A hint to somone new to this locking system I've found using my index finger on the locking lever and my thumb on the liner lock, let tyhe blade fold just enough to engage the lever lock you can then release the extra lever and easily fold the knife. This sounds much more difficult than it really is.

Comments about Columbia River M16-13Z E.R. Knife:
this knife is the perfect size for all backcountry needs. cooking, fixing, skinning, nose picking. sure, it's no rambo knife, but rambo's so passe'. i love the durability, wish i could open it with one hand though. great color so you don't lose it and know where the sharp thing is in a pile of gear or chopped vegetables.

Comments about Columbia River M16-13Z E.R. Knife:
I carry this knife all the time, but if someone borrows it from me, I always cringe watching them attempt to close it. The second lock is a little too tricky to release.

Comments about Columbia River M16-13Z E.R. Knife:
If you are looking for a folding knife then you can't go wrong with this one. The knife is large enough to be fully gripped by a grown man and this knife has the sharpest blade I have ever seen in a knife that I have purchased. The quality and reliability are outstanding. I purchased it with a cloth case that was in the knife section at REI and it works well but I wish that this knife came with it's own, form fitting case. Other than that I have zero complaints and would highly recommend this knife to anyone.

Comments about Columbia River M16-13Z E.R. Knife:
Recieved the essentially similar M16-03Z (non-serrated) knife as a gift. A very nice knife in most regards. But the lock makes closing this knife very awkward for a lefty.
