Inspired by old-school function, the Keen Oswego features new-school updates that add fun style and practical design.

Repurposing scraps from their footwear and using recycled aluminum and polyester, Keen has developed a line of bags you can feel good about
Main compartment stows books, files, folders and other daily essentials; see-through internal zippered pocket includes a key tether
Front slip pocket with organizer panel keeps pens, pencils and a cell phone in their place
Exterior side pockets with rip-and-stick closure secure a digital music player, PDA or other items you need close by at all times
Slip pockets back the rip-and-stick pockets, creating a convenient spot for tickets and boarding passes
Back panel zippered pocket provides additional storage
Front flap stays closed with a recycled-aluminum buckle and rip-and-stick patch
Wide padded shoulder strap with a recycled-aluminum cambuckle adjusts for comfortable over-the-shoulder carrying
Vulcanized recycled rubber taken from the outsoles of Keen shoes adds excellent abrasion resistance to the bottom of the bag
Polyester construction with welded seams is water and abrasion resistant for long-lasting wear

I love this bag and use it every day for school. You can't fit a big binder in it, and definitely not a laptop, but it's great for a notebook, daily planner, and keeping pens, phone, ipod etc organized.

My only beef is that the lining for the outer pocket tore within a week of getting the bag, then progressively got worse, getting caught in the zipper. I wound up ripping the liner out entirely. I also agree that it would be nice to have one pocket that would fit a water bottle.

This was the transition diaper bag. I have a larger Keen bag I have used. I wanted the quick trip bag and because we use cloth diapers I needed one that could hold at least 3 cloth diapers as well as snacks. It has been perfect.

I originally bought this product because I needed a durable, lightweight day bag to use in my travels and it has definitely not let me down. It's the perfect size-I can fit a rain coat, snacks, a water bottle, cell phone, and mp3 player in it. It's also water proof (helpful in Panama!), although the flaps have gaps in them where rain could theoretically sneak in. The strap has a buckle that is easily adjustable, which is handy because I've had to cinch it up when I'm beach hiking and have to trek through the water.

I take this bag everywhere-into town (fits a few grocery items), on hikes, to work, etc. Despite the fact that I use this thing every day and treat it roughly, it shows no signs of wear and tear. The bottom is made out of old Keen shoe soles and is very tough.

My only wish is that it had backpack straps in addition to the shoulder strap. That would make hiking a bit easier.

The other perk of owning this bag is that it is environmentally responsible. It is entirely made of recyclable materials. Good job Keen!

It's a great bag, the only thing is that the outside pockets maybe are too shallow or just too small to hold a water bottle. It barely holds a bottle of Naked Juice. But with that being the only problem I can totally get over that!!

It's not a suitcase, it's a daypack that's a little bit bigger than a handbag & it does what it's supposed to do.

It is almost big enough. The main pocket would be big enough if I didn't use the front zip pocket and the stash pocket on the front. The water bottle pockets are too small for such use. I haven't bought a bottled water to try those bottles. I like my reusable ones, but now I need to strap it on the outside. There hasn't been enough rain to test its ability to keep papers dry - a leaky top zipper was the problem with my previous bag.

The top opening to the main compartment seems tight, which may also be a result of having items in the front inside pocket.

Love the adjustable strap and durability of the bag. I use it to transport stuff for grad school and work, and the compartments are quite nice to keep everything organized.

Yet, I agree that it could have a bit more space. Somedays I can squeeze a water bottle in there, but other days it's too full...something to think about.

I wanted a day bag, that could easily be used for work. It is well made, looks good, and carries a moderate amount of items. It can carry a few files for work, or a book and few magazines. Pockets could be slightly bigger. Wish it carried a water bottle better.
