Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Phantom Bike Gloves - Men's:
The Gore Phantom gloves feel great, have good grip, and look good. I bought them initially because they felt warm on the inside, and the product packaging described the product as "protects effectively from cold, light rain and snow." For riding in Massachusetts in late fall, these sounded good.
They are fine above 48 degrees, and are very comfortable. Sadly though, they were ineffective below 48 degrees, and my fingers froze. So much for being good in the cold! And if it was snowing, and the temperature was at 32 degrees, and they certainly would fail.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Phantom Bike Gloves - Men's:
HUGE improvement over what I was using (seal liners and regular gloves). I've been riding them for nearly a year and have ridden in some quite cold temps here in SLC. Once you're warmed up, the gloves do their job. I've noted on particularly cold nights (20*ish), my fingers have gotten nippy, but never cold.
I have a difficult time getting them off sometimes and brake lever reach is harder in these gloves.
Padding is adequate for both road and mountain biking and the cuff does its job keeping out the wind. I've noticed my hands slightly moist before, but never wet.
I've also used them as a "general" winter glove as well as other winter activities with great results.

Comments about GORE BIKE WEAR Phantom Bike Gloves - Men's:
Excellent product. I have used these gloves into the single digits for winter biking in Minnesota, and my hands have remained toasty.
The product is well engineered and allows for good grip and dexterity to shift - all without the use of liner gloves.
The gloves have a streamlined look and can even be used about town with a casual jacket, though I use them on the bike alone.
My one complaint is that the women's specific sizing is not widely available.
