First the good. The fenders offer excellent coverage and thus great protection from road spray. They seem durable, and don't rattle.

Now the bad. They were rather difficult to install, even though my bike has the appropriate braze-ons and holes to take fenders. The installation instructions were of minimal use, hardware was missing from the package, and I broke three cable ties tightening them by hand (something I have never done with hundreds of ties before). After replacing the missing hardware from my shop, using my own cable ties, and installing and uninstalling the rear fender about 5 times, I got where it was solid and aligned properly. Not particularly easy even I do actually know what I am doing.

So, I would still recommend the fenders, but plan on spending considerable time getting them installed.

After installing countless fender sets on bikes, my opinion remains that it's a bit of 'black art'...each install has it's own challenges. That said, these fenders install comparably easy; the stays are pre-installed, cut to appropriate lengh, and by design, the stays clear the Avid mechanical discs, on my 'rain-bike'--no stay-bending needed. Big plus for owners of bikes so-equipped.
The fenders themselves are sturdy and rattle-free, with ample coverage. The mud flaps save you the hassle of supplying your own, but the flaps reduce tire clearance...not a deal-breaker, though.
Just don't expect your install to be as easy as changing a tire, or even adjusting your drivetrain...fenders ain't like that.
