      I bought these pairs for my kid, her first sunglass. She loved the idea of wearing them, and 2 months fast fwd, the temple broke off. After close exampnation, I noticed the hinge part snapped off. I managed to glue back together, but it's matter of time before it snapps again.

      These pairs use hard plastic for frame, which I think they should've used softer material to prevent snapping.That's why 3 stars, as far as style and coverage concerned these were awesome.

        Bought them for Lake Tahoe ski trip at Christmas and thrilled they were polarized. I'm a big fan of it in my glasses. LOVE the price and she wears them all the time with no complaints. We get compliments every where she wears them!

          I bought these for my daughter when she was about 18 months old. They were a little big then but fit over and under hats nicely so they stayed on really well. Great coverage and they are light so they don't feel heavy on her ears or face. She is now 2 1/2 and I am ready to replace these glasses. Buying the same ones! We spend a lot of time outdoors in the snow during the winter so she needs polarized to protect her eyes from the snow glare, the dry and windy air and the altitude. She likes them a lot and wears them gladly, never an argument and she rarely takes them off. The lenses have held up so awesome considering how hard they have hit the ground. I am keeping her old ones for back up. She gets so many "movie star" compliments. Everybody loves the BLING and the over-sized, pink glasses on that sweet little face!!

            Our daughter has blond hair and extremely light blue eyes so general sunlight causes her alot of discomfort while just standing outside. Polarized sunglasses are a must have for my husband and I so naturally we were so excited about the option for our daughter. We also read that it was recommended for all children to have polarized as well to prevent sun damage early. My brother bought this set from a local REI for us and we have used them now for about a year. These glasses stand up to almost anything. She uses them to swim in, play outside, and just general use. They stay on her face so well in the pool that she can jump in the pool and when she comes up, they are still on her face. I highly recommend these to any parent who is concerned about the sun and the exposure effects on their eyes. For children who have a hard time playing outside when the sun is too bright and have to squint just to see, this is a MUST HAVE. The frames are incredibly light and thin so they do not bend the top of her ear down like some other glasses do and I think that is why she keeps them on all day. They are comfortable to her. She's 3 so she is not afraid to tell us when she doesn't like something and she LOVES these glasses. I am going to be buying some backups as well just in case. GREAT PRICE TOO!

              I bought these for my daughter who has sensitive eyes to bright lights. She was 2 when she started wearing the glasses and they were a little big, now at 3.5 they fit well. The polarization seems to cut the sun enough for her to not complaining about it being too bright outside to play. She loves wearing her 'sparkly' sunglasses. She receives many complements on her movie star looks while wearing her sunglasses.
