Create a quick and sturdy equalized anchor with this lightweight Mammut Dyneema® Cordelette.

  • Dyneema®, a polyethylene fiber, is incredibly strong, lightweight and resistant to moisture and UV light
  • Radically narrow 8-mm width and a super-low-profile connection in place of a knot eliminate weight
  • Computer-guided looms weave the last three inches of the webbing 4mm wider, allowing the 8mm end to be inserted and bar-tacked in place
  • A Mammut label is sewn over the conjoined ends for smooth running and snag-free pulls

      Anchors can be made with any length of 6mm cord but this sling makes it possible to do the same thing without having to deal with the bulk, stiffness and difficulty of tying a knot in a cordelette. Granted, this is more expensive, but I find that the hassle spent with stiff cordelettes makes this worth it. Not only does it pack smaller, lighter and take up less space, There is no double fishermans knot to deal with. SWEET.

      Super light, super low bulk, no knots getting in your way. Perfect for equalizing a compact anchor, but if things are spread out you will need more than just this single cord to hook it all together.
