    This is a great tire for a rider that appreciates a soft, supple ride. Pretty durable for commuting.....would recommend over gatorskin or armadillo due to the much nicer ride it provides. Also, works great for a recreational rider. If you want something more aggressive, but still a nice ride, check out the vittoria evo xc open corsa pro. For the price though, the speediums are great.

    These tires are best for a sport oriented cyclist who appreciates a good value. I did get some punctures initially, but I attribute this to poor quality tubes (most of the leaks were located near a seam). I purchased these tires (700 x 25) at the beginning of summer, and I average 170 -200 miles a week. I am getting ready to replace them (mid October) due to tread wear. I probably will go with Michelin Krylion next time for even better performance.

      The integrity of this tire remained uncompromised to the exhaustion of the tread during suburban use ( about 1800 miles ).
