        These pants are perfect for camping and hiking. They are lightweight, which makes them great in hot weather or heavy hiking, and they dry quickly. They pack really well and don't wrinkle easily, either. There is just the right amount of pockets, in just the right places. Of these, there is one with a zipper and one with velcro. You can easily turn them into shorts, which are of a nice length.

        I went on a 10-day trip to Yellowstone and the Badlands, and I wore these pants everyday. They looked great the whole time and were super comfortable.

        I love these pants! I now own 3 pairs, one in each color. They fit really well and are great for tall women (I'm 5'9" and the inseam is perfect for me).

          LOVED these pants. Just bought them Friday for our daytrip to Yosemite the next day. Did some "light" hiking. These pants were extremely comfortable, lightweight, didn't chafe, weren't constricting. About the only drawback...I wish they had a slightly larger zipped cargo pocket. Other than that, I'm considering getting another pair.

            If you shave your legs, don't buy these pants. I don't know what it is about the finish of the fabric's inside, but it catches and pulls on even one day's growth of leg hair. I couldn't stand to wear them. Too bad, because the fit was perfect. Back to my old REI convertible pants even though they're too short -- sure wish I could buy the Tall version of the old ones.
