Body hugging and non-restrictive, this lightweight pack is designed for weekend adventures, multi-sport racing and ultralight backpacking.

  • Full-length and dual-zippered, the panel-loading design allows easy access to the pack's contents
  • Front slash pocket with welded water-resistant zipper, stretch-woven side pockets and zippered mesh pockets on waistbelt help you organize your gear
  • Osprey's Airspeed suspension uses an aluminum alloy frame and twin composite struts for support yet flexibility while carrying heavy loads
  • Anchoring to the lumbar area, the suspension provides uniform pressure with no hot spots
  • ErgoPull hipbelt closure provides extra leverage in cinching, drawing tension along top and bottom--not through center--to relieve hipbone pressure
  • Thermo-formed and perforated waffle-pattern shoulder straps and hipbelt save weight and enhance breathability
  • Pack features a shorter torso and a women-specific shaped shoulder harness and hipbelt
  • Hydration-compatible design features hydration tube portholes and uses cavity behind mesh backpanel to hold reservoir (sold separately)
  • Daisy chain with removable shockcord clips let you attach a bungee cord for lashing on extra gear
  • Removable sleeping pad straps

This is a wonderful pack. It holds a lot more items and weight than one would expect, is very solidly built, and its unique breathable mesh back design keeps one comfortable even in extreme heat.

Most recently, I took it for a 4 day / 3 night trip on the South Bass trail in Grand Canyon, in windless, high humidity, high heat conditions. Because of water limitations there I had 1 gallon of water, pushing its starting weight to around 30 pounds. It felt great!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
