Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
I used these while on the trail and couldn't be happier. They worked great when the hail started pounding and the rain wouldn't stop. And best of all, they breathed like no waterproof pant I have used to date.

Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
I have owned a pair of these for 4 years and they have never leaked on me. I used them year around and they work for rain, sleet, snow, or hail. There is a zip at the bottom to widen the cuff so you can put them on without having to take your boots or shoes off. I have spent 10 days of both straight rain and straight snow and they have never leaked on me. Very durable. I have finally worn them out after about 300 days of field use and plan on buying another pair right away.

Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
I have abused these pants time and again, yet they remain unblemished (after washing, of course). The fit is comfortable, and they are sized large enough to easily fit over a pair of fleece pants. The ankle zips are long enough to facilitate removal over a pair of mountaineering boots. They pack down very small. I wore these for 5 straight days in the Alps during the summer of 2007 and they never failed me. I also own a Marmot Oracle jacket which I love.

Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
I've used these on many Cascade rainy hikes and they have performed very well. Also a great lightweight shell for snowshoeing.

Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
Pants do not breath in anything more than very light activity. They seem dry on the outside but they are drenched on the inside. They are very light and packable.

Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
I got these to use as a bad weather overpant but they aren't cut for that. You have to go up 2 sizes to use as intended. The waist adjustment is poor, elastic with some thin, inadequate velcro strips. No way to adequately adjust the waist based on how many layers you have on underneath.

Comments about Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's:
I love the full length zippers on these pants for immediate venting when I get too hot. Not a warm pair of pants at all so if you get cold make sure to wear something underneath them. The pants seem like they would be super easy to tear...
