Comments about Coleman Cool Zephyr Window Fan:
I live in Singapore, which is hot and humid year-round, so ventilation is essential to a decent night's sleep when camping. I was quite excited when I bought two of these fans for the wife and I to use in our Kingdom 6. However, the results were disappointing.
I liked the fact that these fans can mount directly to the mesh walls with the magnetic ring. The heavy battery pack is connected via a wire, which allows you to place it out of the way. And with 6 D batteries, I figured that the air flow would be substantial.
However, in operation on the "high" setting, the air flow was not very strong and it was necessary to position the fan very near my face in order to feel any air movement. No big deal, I thought. Any air flow was a blessing in a 85 degree F / 90 % humidity Singapore evening. But when I awoke the next morning, I was surprised to see that the fan's on-off switch had melted. I disassembled the battery pack and found that the switch circuit board was blackened and had overheated.
My wife's fan survived the first night, but the batteries ran out in the middle of the second. I will continue my search for a good tent fan, but the Cool Zephyr Window Fan is not it.

Comments about Coleman Cool Zephyr Window Fan:
Not recommended. While fan output was decent, the fan worked for about 4 hours on the low setting before becoming semi-operational. The battery pack heated up significantly and the fan turned on/off, presumably under low battery power. Perhaps I got the defective product from the batch, but I can't recommend it based on my experience.

Comments about Coleman Cool Zephyr Window Fan:
I have two of these... used them when the temperature was 100+ during the day and down to 80-85 at night. They worked great. Lasted 3 nights on one set of batteries. They won't blow you out of your tent or anything like that of course, but placed in the right places, provide a nice, strong breeze and work as advertised.
