Comments about Nikon Action Zoom XL 10-22 x 50 Binoculars:

The optics on these binoculars are superb. I have no problem seeing details with surprising clarity from 30 miles away with these and I have not seen anything match them at this price point.

They are clear and easy to focus (without glasses or with contact lenses). The are a bit more difficult with glasses but they are still usable.

They are not, however, very useful without a tripod. This isn't really a fault of the binoculars, but because of the size required to provide quality optics with this zoom level. They are heavy and hence difficult to maintain stability when using the zoom.

I would definitely recommend these binoculars for someone who is willing to use a tripod or can provide stability through some other means.
