        this bag is NOT waterproof. There is a printed warning on the inside of the bag (yes the inside) that says "This product offers splash proof protection and is not represented as waterproof". I had it on the deck of my kayak during a recent ocean trip and everything in it got wet.

          Nice size bag, easy to attach to almost anything. Makes contents accessible quickly. I do use for small digital camera, despite tag saying not to. I assume the warning is just because of liability or lack of padding. In any case, it has worked fine for me.
