I got these to ride in a 65 mile charity ride - more comfy & more padding than the other pair I had. I was glad I wore them - I was pretty comfortable during the entire ride.
Does fit larger than expected & leg "elastic" is looser than I expected as well - still, I was glad I had them

These look STUPID when you're standing. There is padding that travels down your inseam and gives you the look of a very large [*]. BUT that padding travels up right where you need it once you hit the seat. The actual inseam isn't as long as it appears in the photo. What appears loose and bunched while standing stretches out and fits perfectly with no ride up once on the bike. The waist band does ride a little higher in the back, but that works itself out when seated as well.

Order it online after reading others' reviews, but return it after I tried it on.
It looks like I am wearing a very wet heavy padding, it hanging down.
No way. I have been riding for nearly ten years, never see one like this.

I'm a novice cyclist and I purchased the canari women's pro gel short to replace some champion brand shorts that wore out in a matter of months. The canari shorts are much stretchier than the champion cycling shorts and the chamois is thicker, larger, and very soft. They do have shorter leg length than other shorts I have tried (mostly men's shorts). I've only used these shorts a couple of times so far, but they have held up well, and been comfortable, even in the 90 degree summer heat.

For so long, I had a difficult time finding comfortable cycling shorts as my legs are larger and torso is shorter than most women's. These were a dream come true. At first, I feared that the gel would bunch up in the crotch like seats, but I have used these for the past year (on a frequent basis for long rides), and I have been very satisfied.

Bought these shorts mainly for the gel padding for long spin classes. The fit is good as the shorts stretch well. They look small until you pull them on. There is a band around the leg that keeps it in place without binding. The padding helps allievate discomfort. These shorts are a great value.
