we bought these for my kids whose eyes are sensitive to sunlight. The polarization is awesome, but the yellow tint of the glasses are not my kid's preference. If you want darker glasses go with the red/black frames.

    My daughter likes these sunglasses a lot. I would not describe the color as lavender by any stretch. They are more of a bright pink.
