The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I was initially hesitant to get a bladder this large due to the risk of storing two or more days worth of water in a single bladder. I was also concerned that it would be impossible to balance my pack with two and a half gallons sloshing around inside.
The first concern was greatly alleviated by the ruggedness of this bladder. I even read a review of this badder on another site where a guy claimed to have driven over it with his car without it rupturing. It is highly resistant to abrasions and sharp rocks are likely no match for the Cordura but to be safe I think I would prefer to take two or three of the four liter bladders if I were going solo into cactus country.
As for packing this large bladder, I found that the webbing straps on the perimeter did an excellent job of compressing the bladder and keeping it stable regardless of how much water was left inside. On a side note, I've even used this bladder as a pillow on warmer nights.
To MSR: I wish the webbing strap had some form of locking clip since knots can be hard to untie if you have been using the strap to support the 23 pound weight of a full bladder. The black caps are also hard to locate in the dark. My suggestion would be to tether the caps or make them white or red to make them more visible in the dark. And finally, a handle needs to be incorporated into the webbing strap on the largest bladder since it is much to narrow to be comfortable supporting the weight of 10 liters of water.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I bought this bag to replace several smaller clear plastic storage containers. Algae is everywhere, and in the right conditions it can grow in your water bottle; all that is needed is light and moisture, making a water bottle susceptable to mold growth; the black color of this dromedary helps prevent growth of algae by preventing light from entering.
It's very durable, I've beat the heck out of mine for many years. I also have the shower nozzle (I suggest you make your own, after buying the spigot kit), the spigot, and the drinking tube set up.
The drinking tube is also supposed to be "tasteless" (seems all water bladder makers claim this!), but I noticed a vinyl taste, which would have been from the liner of the dromedary and not necessarily from the hose itself; however, the hose has a thin plastic liner that separated on its own, so I bought an insulated water hose from Camelback and stuck it on the MRS dromedary drinking hose adapter.
The *only* problem I've had with this bladder is that no matter how much cleaning and rinsing (bleach, baking soda, etc.) mine still has this "vinyl" taste that comes from the inner liner of these dromedaries.
So, if you're going to get this, get it because it's the most durable water bag you can buy on the market!

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
Avoid placing dromerodry bag in areas that wood smoke blows through. The material absorbs the aroma and taints the water with smokey flavor.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
As a Hotshot (type of wildland firefighter) Myself and others on the crew sometimes go through a gallon or so of water a day and the dromedary allows you to fill up in the morning and not worry about running out (at least with the 10 liter bag) This bag is extremely tough but the only downfall is it only comes with one type of drinking hose which is not as reliable as the bag itself...at least on the front lines of a wildland fire. I sure for every day camping/backpacking though it would be great.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I bought this bag to use on a long camping/hiking trip. Brought it along on hikes for extra water, and hung it up at the campsite for drinking and cooking. The straps make it more useful around the site, but when you're hinking, unless its going in your daypack, its a bit difficult to strap it to the outside.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I used Iodine in it and the water came out clear. The plastic that I could see was no longer clear. Other than that it was a great product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to carry 2.5 gallons of water or someone who would use it for large groups.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
This product at only 10oz is light and its 10lt makes it the great bag to have in the back country. remember you do not HAVE to fill it all the way up, so unless you are a real gram counter you can fill this up as much as you think you will need. works great at base camp to fill everyones bottles and to do cooking.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
I backpack the Ventana Wilderness of the Big Sur, CA are frequently and am tough on my equipment, so I am always looking for light weight, durable gear to accompany me on my journeys. This 10L Dromedary bag from MSR is just that. There are a few drawbacks though:
Good:
Light, versatile, adjustable, VERY tough.
Bad:
The hydration adapter that is available is a bad design for use as a bladder in a sleeve inside a pack. The problem is that the elbow that screws onto the standard cap of the bladder sticks out a good ways. Thus, when you shove this down into a hydration sleeve in a pack and pack it up tight, you have to be really careful how you pack in order to avoid damaging that elbow pressing out into the pack. It's also easy to bend the hose over at the elbow with gear packed tight against it thereby restricting flow, a very frustrating thing when you've spent several minutes packing up and are setting off on a long hike.
Long story short:
This is a great bladder with lots of options for attaching to a pack or compressing the bladder with the straps that run the perimeter of the bladder. However, MSR needs to develop a cap specifically made for hydration hose attachment that is more low profile and that protects the hose attachment at the bladder.

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
This is a great(!) replacement for a camelbak bladder under the lid of a Top loading back pack on longer hikes or even day trips. The mouth is the same size as a nalgene, so and filter adapters you have for those will fit this also( MSR brand filters all come with a nalgene sized outlet fitting).
It would be nice if there was a swivel fitting for the hydration hose kit, however as this would be a potential failure point(KISS)( and the Dromedary series were not designed specifically as hydro bladders) and not every one needs it.
Excellent kit!

Comments about MSR Dromedary Bag - 10 Liter:
This product is as good as the two liter version I purchased 20 years or so ago. I also purchased the attachment to use it like a faucet when in camp (nice feature when camping with others), and the bite valve attachment to use. Unbeatable combination for hiking / backpacking / canoeing / etc.
