Comments about Novara Deluxe Rack Trunk:
I have the older, boxier model.
It's permanently on my bike at all times because of the great convenience for holding things and also because it's a pain to get it on and off with the velcro strap attachments.
There are a lot of mesh pockets inside that organize well and the vertical expansion which includes cinch straps is great for things like when you're stop by the store on the way home from a ride and don't have panniers to hold groceries, etc. This actually holds a half bag of groceries in its flexible body.
The only downside is the velcro attachments. It's a challenge to get on and off when needed.

Comments about Novara Deluxe Rack Trunk:
This works great on my commute even though I don't ride a Novara cycle to work. It holds my work clothes and all my essentials without bursting at the seams. The only drawback is the velcro straps aren't quite long enough to fit the back of my rack so I had to jury rig with bungees, but the trunk rack still holds steady over the rough patches in the road!

Comments about Novara Deluxe Rack Trunk:
This bag provides a lot of storage room. Twin zipper main opening provides easy access. Outside open pocket is handy for carying spare water bottle. Bag attaches to rack easily and securely.

Comments about Novara Deluxe Rack Trunk:
Owned this item for about 2 years now, where it stays essentially on my commuter bike fulltime mounted on one of the older Blackburn Mtn Racks, which seems to suit this bag pretty well . The Velcro attatchment can be kinda a pain to mess with frequently but once I have it mounted it stays.
Mostly used to tote a few tools my rain gear, a spare tube and a cable for extra security locking when i need it. Time to time I'll strap the U-lock to the top as well. With both rain pants and jacket and all the rest it compresses pretty well and reamains stable.

Comments about Novara Deluxe Rack Trunk:
OK, bag looks nice, small, lightweight, and I did not want to switch out my old rack for a modular set up. But this bag has two (too short) velcro straps to hold it on the rack. Fell off three times on my first ride to work, even when attached it was not secure enough to prevent movement.

Comments about Novara Deluxe Rack Trunk:
Mostly quality construction. Nice built in rain cover. Expandable interior. Nice internal side pockets to keep gear in place.
External pockets are very slim and only appropriate for very small items. Top compression straps attach to main body with flimsy artificial leather-like material that tears very easily rendering the bag inoperable after only short use.
